Hannah Sumner won her first Bluegrass Tour event of the summer Tuesday with a 14 shot win at the Benton Country Club.
The former Christian County Lady Colonel battled windy conditions and the hilly terrain of the Benton Country Club course to shoot a 12-over 84. Sumner settled into a groove to shoot 2-over par on her final 10 holes of the day.
Sumner, who will be playing golf at Lindsey Wilson this fall, has finished in the top ten of all three of her Bluegrass Tour events this summer.
