Landon Hunt birdied his first hole of the day and made it stand up as he won the 11-12 division of the Bluegrass Golf Tour stop at Paxton Park Golf Course Wednesday.
Hunt shot a 4-over 39 to edge Paxton Carter of Paducah by three shots.
Hunt also won the combo title as his score from last week’s event at the Calvert City Country Club gave him an 18-hole total of 79, which was two shots better than Carter who finished second.
The Christian County Middle Schooler has finished in the top five of every Bluegrass Tour event he has played in this summer.
