Caldwell County golfer Claire Knoth placed eighth out of 19 participants in her age group at the Bluegrass Golf Tour Junior Series stop at Indian Hills Country Club in Bowling Green on Thursday.
Knoth carded a 17-over-par 88 in the 18-hole event, shooting 10 over on the front and seven over on the back.
Faith Martin of Rockfield won the girls’ 15-18 age group with a four-over 75.
One other golfer from the YSE coverage area played in Bowling Green.
Evan Pyle of Hopkinsville placed 18th out of 26 golfers in the boys’ 15-18 division with an 87.
