Caldwell County’s Jacob McDaniels was a winner twice on the Bluegrass Golf Tour on Wednesday.
McDaniels won Wednesday’s Junior Series nine-hole competition at Paxton Park in Paducah by two shots in the boys’ 10-under division. He parred his final two holes to rally to the victory, shooting an 8-over par 43.
McDaniels also won the West Kentucky Regional Combo competition, which includes Wednesday’s round in Paducah and last Thursday’s round at Calvert City Country Club.
McDaniels won last week’s event at Calvert City with a 45, giving him a six-shot margin in the regional combo.
Gage Norman of Benton was second in action at Paxton Park, shooting a 45.
Norman was also second in the West Kentucky Regional Combo.
