Jiles Wyatt went south of the border Thursday to play in the Sneds Tour event at Paris Landing State Park near Paris, Tennessee. The University Heights Academy senior shot a 7-over 79 to finish two shots behind the winner, Kamaren Cunningham of Dover.
Wyatt had eight pars on the back nine and finished his round with 13 of them.
The Sneds Tour was founded by PGA golfer and Tennessee native Brant Snedeker through the Tennessee Golf Foundation. Wyatt played in a Sneds Tour event June 1 at Harpeth Hills Golf Course and finished tied for fourth.
