A big night Thursday for several Lyon County Lyons, as the 16u Shivers Kentucky Prospects picked up another big win. Playing in Memphis, the 16u Shivers got big games from Jackson Shoulders, Gunnar Bingham, and Brody Williams, as they rolled to a 10-2 win over Rawlings Tigers – Duvall.
The Shivers picked up a 5 run third inning and a 4 run sixth inning on their way to the victory.
At the plate, Gunnar Bingham was 2-4 with a double, two RBIs, and two runs scored. Brody Williams finished 3-4 with a pair of RBI’s. Jackson Shoulders ended up 1-2 with a run scored.
Hopkinsville’s Jacob Dilday went 0-1 with a run scored and two walks.
On the mound, Shoulders picked up the win, going three innings, giving up one earned run and striking out three.
