With the spring sports season in the books prematurely, YourSportsEdge.com has reached out to coaches, and they have provided us with information and comments on their seniors. We are recognizing the Class of 2020.
Kenzi Ellis was a member of the Trigg County softball team.
“Kenzi has been part of Trigg County softball since middle school. She was determined to always work hard and become better every day,” first-year Coach Ashley Denfip. “Her role this year as our catcher was very important, and I think Kenzi was ready for that. She had been working very hard to prove that she deserved that role.”
“With a young team and a rebuilding year, Kenzi was a leader and someone the younger girls could look up to. She always had a smile on her face and did what I asked. Although our time was cut short, I know Kenzi has a bright future ahead of her and will accomplish anything she wants due to her work ethic,” Denfip said.
