Claire Knoth shot her best round of golf this summer on Tuesday, and it helped her finish in eighth place at the Bluegrass Tour stop at the Franklin Country Club.
Knoth, who will be a sophomore at Caldwell County High School this fall, had five pars and finished her round with a 16-over 87. It was Knoth’s fourth top 10 finish on the Bluegrass Tour this summer.
Faith Martin, who will be a senior at South Warren High School this fall, shot a 1-under 70 to win by six shots.
