Jiles Wyatt went south of the border Friday and picked up his first win on the SNEDS Tour, Tennessee’s junior golf tour founded by PGA pro Brandt Snedeker. Wyatt overcame a tough start to shoot a 14-over 85 and win by seven shots over Hopkinsville’s Evan Pyle.
Wyatt’s round included a birdie and nine pars as he shot a 41 on the back nine. The University Heights Academy senior has three top five finishes in SNEDS Tour events this year.
