Abby-Grace Forbes
Two Western Kentucky golfers were among the girls participating Thursday in the Indiana Elite College Showcase in Indianapolis. Logan County’s Abby-Grace Forbes and Ballard Memorial’s Autumn Dowdy took to the course at the Winding Ridge Golf Club.
Dowdy had a solid day Thursday, shooting an 82, and qualifying for Friday’s championship round at the event. Dowdy’s 82 placed her eight shots back of the leader.
Forbes finished her round Thursday with a score of 99. Forbes was coming off a second place finish Tuesday at a Bluegrass Tour event in Franklin.
