Crittenden County alum Lauren Gilchrist is using the summer to prepare for her freshman year at Murray State in the fall. She finished third Wednesday at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club with a 7-over 79.
Gilchrist is working to get her competitiveness back and looks forward to playing on a girls’ golf team for the first time.
