If the 2020 girls’ soccer season takes place, she will have a chance to be one of the state’s all time leading scorers, and it would be in just her junior season. With 56 goals last year in her sophomore season, Madisonville-North Hopkins’ Camryn LaGrange is just two goals away from 100 in her high school career, and if the 2020 season gets up and running on time, she should hit that milestone some time in mid-August.

LaGrange would then begin the climb up the ladder towards some very elite company in girls soccer history in the Bluegrass. If she just hits her average of her first two years, at 49 goals per season, LaGrange would finish her career at Madisonville with 196 career goals.

With that total, and based on the current list, LaGrange would move into the #4 spot all time in Kentucky girls’ soccer history. She would be three goals behind #3 scorer Ashley Ritchie, of Thomas Nelson, Hannah Wallhauser, of Berea, is in the #2 slot with 202 career goals.

Kentucky’s all time leading scorer in girls’ soccer is Maddie Griggs, of Henderson County with 217.

LaGrange’s 56 goals in 2019 ties her for 17th in single season goals in Kentucky history. Anna Burchett, of Prestonsburg, set the Kentucky single season record in 2019 with 88 goals.
