After an up-and-down front nine, Jiles Wyatt settled down on the back nine to score a second-place finish Wednesday in the Sneds Tour stop at the Legacy Golf Course in Springfield, Tennessee.
The University Heights Academy senior had a birdie and three bogeys on his first six holes and followed with consecutive double bogeys.
He found his footing on the back nine where he shot a 3-over 39. Wyatt finished his round with a 10-over 82 to finish nine shots behind the winner, Isaac Meador of Lafayette, Tenn.
Wyatt has finished in the top four of every Sneds Tour tournament he has played in this summer.
