Eston Glover was a big part of the Clarksville Orioles’ four-win performance over the weekend in a travel baseball tournament in Georgia.
Glover, a junior at University Heights Academy, plays for the 15U Orioles team based out of Clarksville.
Glover hit .273 over the weekend, scored three runs, and stole five bases. He also got the no-decision in an Orioles win, striking out three and allowing two hits in one-and-a-third innings of work.
The Orioles won its first four games before Sunday’s game with the Sandlot 15U team ended in an 8-8 tie. The Orioles are 8-2-1 this summer with Glover batting .346 at the plate.
