Claire Knoth went under par on the back nine to claim an 8-shot win Tuesday at the GO Junior Golf Series stop at Kenny Perry’s Country Creek Course in Franklin.
The Caldwell County golfer shot a 1-under 35 on the back nine to couple with her 43 on the front nine. Her round of 78 was one of her best scores of the summer season and was eight shots ahead of Conlee Lindsey to win the 13-15 age division.
Abby-Grace Forbes of Logan County shot a round of 90 to finish in third place.
