Fall athletics will not take place at a Kentucky NCAA Division II school this fall. The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference officially announced Friday that all fall athetics among its 14 member schools would not take place due to an inability to meet social distancing guidelines.
Kentucky State University, located in Frankfort, is a SIAC member schoo.
Conference officials say decisions on winter and spring sports will be coming at a later date.
Officials at Kentucky State say they will continue to honor the scholarships of their fall sport athletes.
