After a very successful two year run, the Logan County boys basketball team is looking for a new head coach. The school announced Friday afternoon that Coach John Tinsley had stepped down. No reason for Tinsley’s departure was given in a social media post.
Tinsley was 53-11 in his two seasons at Logan County.
The 2019-2020 Cougars finished the year at 28-4. They were on a 24 game winning streak when they fell to Bowling Green in the 4th Region semifinals, which was their only loss to a 4th Region team all season.
Tinsley’s 2018-2019 team ended up 25-7. Their season ended with a loss to Warren Central in the 4th Region semis.
Logan County won the 13th District title both seasons that Tinsley was on the sideline.
