One of the questions as teams began preparations for a possible fall sports season in Christian County had been the availability of trainers, especially in the wake of recent furloughs and layoffs by medical facilities across Western Kentucky. During his update to the Christian County School Board Thursday night, district athletic director Kerry Stovall gave board members an update on the status of trainers.
Stovall noted that two trainers for the district are currently available to athletic teams for a total of 20 hours per week.
