Lyon County American Legion Post 68 held an Alumni Game Friday night at Lee S. Jones Park in Eddyville.
The evening was also a fundraiser for 10-year-old Owen Matthews and his family. Organizers were hoping to raise $10,000, but actually brought in more than that to aid Owen’s battle against cancer.
As for the game, the Alumni team defeated the current Post 68 Aces 15-11 in a six-inning contest.
