Karra Tucker finished tied for 21st Friday at the Kentucky Junior PGA Girls’ Amateur held at Cherry Blossom Golf Club in Georgetown.
The Madisonville freshman finished 15 over par for the two-day event, which was 13 shots behind the winner.
Tucker shot an opening-round 77 that included a birdie and 11 pars. On Friday, she shot an 82.
Lexington’s Delia Gibbs, who will attend Belmont University this fall, edged Marshall County junior Savannah Howell by one shot to win the title. Gibbs shot an even-par 72 in the final round and finished the two-day event at 2-over.
