Hopkinsville golfer Tadd Switzer finished tied for 18th place in the amateur division of the 84th Irvin Cobb Championships played at Paxton Park in Paducah.
Switzer’s two-day total was 5-over par. He shot a 3-over 74 in Saturday’s first-round and improved one shot on Sunday.
The University Heights Academy alum finished eight shots behind the winner, Justin Johns of South Fulton, Tenn., who won the event in the three-way playoff.
