It was a top ten finish for Hopkinsville’s Evan Pyle in the Boys 15-18 Division at the Kentucky Junior PGA Louisville Junior Championship this week. The two day event wrapped up Wednesday at the Polo Fields Golf & Country Club.
The course played tough over the two days, with scores running on the high side.
Pyle finished the two days with a score of 170. That score tied him for 7th place in the event. Pyle was consistent over the two days, carding an 85 in each round.
He finished 17 strokes behind the winner, Carl Space, of Lexington. Gabe Shelley, of Taylorsville, finished in second.
