A Bowling Green baseball player has been selected to participate in a national showcase event. Bowling Green High School junior Patrick Forbes has been selected to be among the players taking part in the Prep Baseball Report Future Games.
Forbes, who missed out on his sophomore season for the Purples due to the COVID-19 pandemic, is among the members of the Class of 2022 and Class of 2023 selected for the event.
According to a statement on Prep Baseball Report’s website, tThe Prep Baseball Report Future Games is the premier summer scouting event for Class of 2022 prospects and select 2023 prospects. Last year, more than 300 college coaches from all over the country were in attendance.
The games are set for August 1 – August 3, at LakePoint in Cartersville, Georgia.
