After a year off, a former Caldwell County Tiger is returning to college baseball.
Noah Brown, a 2018 CCHS grad, played 2019 at Rend Lake College but did not play this past year.
However, Brown is returning to the game, and will join the baseball program at Asbury University in Wilmore, Ky., this fall.
Brown, who was a part of two regional championship teams at Caldwell, joins an Eagles team at Asbury that was 14-4 this spring before play was stopped because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Eagles were 24-22 in 2019.
Asbury is an NAIA school which competes in the River States Conference.
Brown is playing this summer in the Kentucky Prospects Collegiate Baseball League at Brooks Stadium in Paducah.
