The KHSAA has approved the practice and competition schedule for the 2020 cheerleading and dance season. Here is some important information to know.
The first full practice is August 24 with athletes limited to 7.5 hours per week. The KHSAA strongly recommends that all activity be held outdoors where safety equipment and conditions permit.
Schools will only be allowed to play schools located in Kentucky or located in a county that directly borders Kentucky.
The KHSAA Board of Control is scheduled to meet again Aug. 20 to look at the state’s coronavirus case data and likely take action on whether to continue the cheer and dance season as planned.
