Schedule
Teams can play a maximum of nine regular-season games. Teams have the option of filling their bye week with a game and scheduling a game on Nov. 6, which was previously the first week of the postseason.
Schools will only be allowed to play schools located in Kentucky or located in a county that directly borders Kentucky.
Each round of the postseason was pushed back a week, with the first round games now scheduled for Nov. 13-14. The finals will be played a week later on Dec. 11-12 at Kroger Field.
The KHSAA Board of Control is scheduled to meet again Aug. 20 to look at the state’s coronavirus case data and likely take action on whether to continue the football season as planned.
Some on-site logistics [crowd size, payment method, testing protocol, etc.] will likely be left up to each school district with those plans to be announced later.
