Kaitlyn Zieba had a round to remember Wednesday at the Hurricane Junior Golf Tournament stop at the Vanderbilt Legends Club.
The Madisonville junior scored a hole-in-one in the par-3 11th hole. She added two more birdies on the back nine to finish with an even-par 36.
Zieba finished Wednesday’s second round at 6-over, which was a 12 shot improvement over Tuesday’s first round. She tied Paducah’s Ellie Roof for fifth place at 24-over for the event, won by Cohutta, Georgia’s Sara Burger at 10-over. 2020 St. Mary graduate Margaret Butts finished in fourth place.
