The Madisonville-North Hopkins boys golf team braved wet and stormy conditions throughout the day Friday as the opened the 2020 high school golf season at Ben Hawes State Park in the Daviess County Invitational. The Maroons ended their day with a team score of 344, which placed them 7th in the event.
Host Daviess County took home first place honors with a score of 307. Owensboro Catholic was 11 shots back in 2nd place with a score of 318.
Aaron Munger had the low score of the day for the Maroons. Munger finished his round with a score of 77, placing him in a tie for 8th place in the individual standings.
