Conlee Lindsey opened her 2020 high school golf season with a 17th place finish Friday at the Murray High Invitational played at the Murray Country Club.
The University Heights Academy eighth-grader shot a round of 98, which was one shot out of a top 15 finish on the day. Lindsey was the lone Lady Blazer to play in the 18-hole event.
McCracken County’s Madison Glisson, a seventh-grader playing in her first varsity match, shot a 4-over 77 to edge Murray’s Mary Browder Howell by one shot. St. Mary’s Ellie Roof was third, and McCracken County’s Adeline Edwards was fifth.
