The Webster County Trojans boys golf team opened the 2020 season with a Top 10 finish. The Trojans finished with a team score of 365 Friday, which earned them a 10th place finish in the Daviess County Invitational at Ben Hawes State Park, in Owensboro.
Host Daviess County took home first place honors with a score of 307. Owensboro Catholic was 11 shots back in 2nd place with a score of 318.
Grant Puckett had the low score of the day for the Trojans. Puckett finished his round with a score of 73, placing him in 3rd place in the individual standings.
