It was almost like the Marshall County Lady Marshals were playing on their home course Monday. Marshall County cruised to 1st place in the 19th annual Lady Scottie Golf Invitational, at the Willow Oaks Golf Course, in Glasgow.
The Lady Marshals finished the day with a team score of 307, 18 shots better than second place South Warren. Host team Glasgow finished in 3rd place with a score of 329.
In individual play, Marshall County 7th grader Trinity Beth ruled the day. Beth finished her blazing hot round with a score of 69. Beth finished six shots ahead of Abbie Lee, of Glasgow. Beth’s teammate Megan Hertter finished 3rd with a round of 77.
