Christian County has a mix of experience and youth on its 2020 golf team. Both were on display Monday at the Hopkinsville Golf Invitational.
The Colonels scored 372 points to finish ninth in the event — 7th among Region 2 teams.
Christian County’s two seniors led the way with rounds of 87. Houston George and Micah Smith both finished tied for 29th place. Hopkinsville’s James Folz shot an even-par 71 to win the event.
Seventh-grader Landon Hunt shot a 95 to finish in 47th place and fellow seventh-grader Brady Hightower shot a 103 to finish in 70th place.
Christian County hosts their invitational Thursday at Western Hills Golf Course.
