Hopkinsville’s James Folz used four back-nine birdies to hold off Owensboro’s Jakob Wellman by one stroke and take the top spot at the Hopkinsville Golf Invitational on Monday.
After wrapping up his round at Hopkinsville Golf & Country Club, he talked about his aggressive approach and said summer work is paying off as the high school season gets underway.
