Christian County finished ninth Wednesday at the Madisonville Invitational held at the Lakeshore Country Club.
Micah Smith led the Colonels with a round of 88, which was good for 29th place. Houston George added a 95 for Christian County. Seventh graders Landon Hunt [96] and Brady Hightower [101] rounded out the scoring for the Colonels.
Madisonville’s Jackson Hill shot a 2-under 70 to win the tournament, finishing one shot ahead of Owensboro’s Jakob Wellman.
