Emma Talley shot a 1-over par 72 in the first round of the Marathon LPGA Classic presented by Dana on Thursday.
The projected cut is at even par.

Danielle Kang and Lydia Ko lead after 18 holes following 7-under opening rounds of 64 on Thursday.
Talley had two birdies but three bogeys in first round action.
Talley was featured on Golf Channel’s telecast on Thursday. She was mic’ed up during the round and talked about her friend Cullan Brown, who died Tuesday after a year-long battle with cancer.
Talley made ribbons for the LPGA players to wear in memory of Cullan.
Round two is Friday at Highland Meadows Golf Club.
