A Top-5 showing at the Marathon LPGA Classic presented by Dana has moved up Emma Talley up to 28th on the tour money list this season.
Talley made $54,244 for tying for fifth Sunday at Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, Ohio, on the west side of Toledo.
It also pushed her over $600,000 in career earnings.
In five starts on tour this year, Talley has made $63,983.
Talley, the former Caldwell County High School and University of Alabama star, will try to add to those totals when she plays in the Aberdeen Standard Investments Ladies Scottish Open in North Berwick, Scotland starting on Thursday.
Tour players will spend the next two weeks in Scotland. The AIG Women’s Open, formerly the Women’s British Open, will be played at Royal Troon Golf Club Aug. 20-23.
The Ladies Scottish Open has a purse of $1.5 million while the Women’s Open has a purse of $4.5 million.
