Lyon County All-Region basketball player Travis Perry has been named the Naismith National Youth All American Mr. Basketball for the state of Kentucky in the class of 2024.
Perry led the Second Region in scoring as an eighth-grader in 2019-20 at 26.6 points per game and hit 83 three-pointers.
He is ranked fourth in the nation for the Class of 2024 by the Naismith National Youth All American and is the only Kentucky player in the top 50 nationally for the Class of 2024.
Marshall County senior and Western Kentucky commitment Zion Harmon is ranked 26th in the nation for the Class of 2021 by the NNYAA.
