UHA’s Jiles Wyatt is determined to wring every drop out of his senior golf season, including a solo trip to Morganfield to play in the Union County Invitational on Monday.
Wyatt was the Blazers’ lone representative at the event, shooting a 76 to tie for 4th place with Muhlenberg County’s Nolan Nofsinger. The pair finished three shots back of the winner, Webster County’s Grant Puckett, with Trigg County’s Hunter Reynolds and Madisonville-North Hopkins’ Jackson Hill tying for 2nd with rounds of 74.
Wyatt will be back on the course with his Blazer teammates on Tuesday when they meet Christian County in a dual match at Western Hills Golf Course.
