Christian County’s Houston George continued his strong early-season play with a runner-up showing in a dual match with University Heights Academy on Tuesday. George finished seven strokes back of 1st-place Jiles Wyatt at Western Hills Golf Course.
George fired a 39 over nine holes, followed for the Colonels by Jace Blue in 3rd-place with a 41. Landon Hunt and Micah Smith each shot a 42, with Brady Hightower adding a 44.
The Colonels will be back on the course at Western Hills on Thursday when they entertain the Blazers again, along with Hopkinsville.
