
An even-par 71 on Sunday left Emma Talley in a tie for 22nd in the final standings at the Aberdeen Standard Investments Ladies Scottish Open.
After a first-round 73 on Thursday, Talley shot rounds of 71 over each of the final three rounds. That put her at 2-over-par 286 for the event.
Talley’s consistent round on Sunday featured two birdies and two bogeys.
For the tournament, Talley hit 43 of 52 fairways and reached 52 of 72 greens in regulations. She averaged 32 putts per round.
Talley had 10 birdies and 12 bogeys over 72 holes. She did not have a double bogey or worse.
Meanwhile, Stacy Lewis holed a long birdie putt on the first playoff hole to defeat three other players and claim the championship in North Berwick, Scotland.
Azahara Munoz, Cheyenne Knight and Emily Kristine Pedersen all finished regulation play at 5-under to join Lewis in the playoff at the Renaissance Club.
Talley, who earned $15,752 for her showing at the Ladies Scottish Open, will play in the AIG Women’s Open next week at Royal Troon. That will be the first major of the year.
