Marshall County’s Jay Nimmo continued his big summer on the golf course Wednesday. Nimmo took a four-shot win at the Bluegrass Tour Fall 18-hole event at Drake Creek.
Nimmo finished his round with a two-under-par 70. That was four shots better than Camryn Beatty, of Paducah. Nimmo’s high school teammate Trey Wall finished in third place with a three-over-par 75.
Nimmo was on track for a big round after the front nine, where he shot a four-under-par 32. He couldn’t match his fast start, coming in on the back nine with a two-over-par 38.
Luke Wilson and Tyler Dew of Paducah, and Marshall County’s Camdyn McLeod all tied for fifth place at 11-over par.
