With the Kentucky High School Athletic Association Board of Control’s decision Thursday to proceed on towards the beginning of fall sports the week of September 7th, attention for the smaller schools in the state will now turn towards a decision that is expected on Friday. Officials with the All A Classic announced a couple of weeks back that a decision regarding their fall sport championships would be made August 21, or the day after the KHSAA made its decision on whether or not to move forward.
All A Classic championships are scheduled in September for golf, boys soccer, girls soccer, and volleyball. Golf is scheduled to be the first among those, with the All A state golf tourney set for September 12th. The 2nd Region All A tournament is set for this Saturday at the Hopkinsville Golf & Country Club.
Volleyball is set for September 18-19. Soccer is scheduled for September 26-27.
At the time they announced their decision would come August 21, All A officials did recommend that regional tournament events go ahead and take place.
