Hopkinsville’s Cate Blane went under par Monday to take medalist honors in a three-team golf match at the Hopkinsville Country Club.
The eighth-grader shot a 1-under 34 on the front nine to claim a three-shot win over Logan County’s Abby-Grace Forbes.
Anna Fort was third with a 45 with Audrey Rains shooting a 48 and Anna Blane a 50.
Jessah Hayden led the Christian County golfers with a score of 46. Riley Johnson shot a 49, and Lacy Patterson added a 55. Lexi Johnson shot a 59, and Emilee Cook shot a 74.
Hopkinsville’s team total of 177 was 32 shots better than Christian County. Logan County did not have enough golfers for a team score.
