Four weeks, four cuts made for Emma Talley, who has been displaying some consistency over the past month on the LPGA Tour.
Talley recorded six birdies Saturday in the second round of the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G and finished the day at 3-under-par 68.
That has her in a tie for 43rd entering Sunday’s final round. She will begin her final 18 holes in the 54-hole event at 10:32 a.m. Sunday morning.
Talley is 4-under overall through 36 holes.
However, the former Caldwell County High School and University of Alabama star was 1-over through eight holes Saturday before birdying five of her last 10 holes to safely get in under the cutline, which was 2-under.
Talley hit 11 of 13 fairways in the second round. She was on 16 of 18 greens in regulation and needed 31 putts.
Meanwhile, Anna Nordqvist shot a 9-under 62 on Saturday to take a three-stroke lead over Sei Young Kim into the final round.
Nordqvist is 16-under overall.
