Marshall County’s Jay Nimmo knew what he needed to do as he walked up the fairway on the 18th hole at Madisonville Country Club on Saturday, and he cooly delivered to finish as medalist at the Hopkins County Central Golf Invitational.
After reaching the green in two on the par-5 finale and knowing a birdie would push him past St. Mary’s Rocco Zakutney, Nimmo played it safe to wrap things up in this Max’s Moment.
