Marshall County’s Jay Nimmo fired a 68 on Saturday at the Hopkins County Central Invitational, including a birdie on the final hole to surge past St. Mary’s Rocco Zakutney and take medalist honors.
Afterward, Nimmo described his 18th-hole birdie at Madisonville Country Club.
