
Trigg County’s Hunter Reynolds shot an even-par 71 to finish in a tie for fifth place at the Hopkins County Central Invitational on Saturday.
Reynolds got off to a hot start and shot a 34 on the front nine before finishing with a 37 on the back side Saturday at the Madisonville Country Club golf course.
Ty Butts shot a 79 for the Wildcats while Trey Carr had an 82 and Hayden Reynolds 84.
Greyson Grissom rounded out the Trigg scoring with a 90.
The Wildcats had a team total of 316, which put them fifth in the team standings.
Over 20 schools had entrants in the event, with over 100 golfers hitting the links on Saturday.
Marshall County’s Jay Nimmo won the individual competition with a 68 while the Marshals claimed the team title with a 297.
