
Kaleb Adams carded a 7-over-par 78 to lead Hopkins County Central’s golfers in their own invitational tournament Saturday at Madisonville Country Club.
Adams shot a 40 on the front and a 38 on the back.
Dreaw Lewis was next for the Storm with an 82. Blade Byrum shot an 86. Ryan Crook recorded a 90.
That gave Hopkins Central a team score of 336.
The Storm also had a ‘B’ team in Saturday’s competition. Sylas Duncan carded a 125, Logan Lockhart 128 and Jagger Byrum 141.
Marshall County’s Jay Nimmo was medalist in the Hopkins Central Invitational with a 3-under-par 68 while the Marshals claimed the team title with a 297.
Over 20 schools had entrants in the event, with more than 100 golfers hitting the links on Saturday.
