Lady Maroons Take Fourth at LaRue County Invitational

Madisonville-North Hopkins finished fourth Saturday at the first-ever Larue County Golf Invitational.

Kaitlyn Zieba tied for third place with a round of 74, equaling the efforts of McCracken County seventh-grader Madison Glisson and Glasgow’s Nina McMurtrey.

Karra Tucker shot a round of 80 to finish in a tie for 12^th place, and Kat Weir’s 86 saw her tie for 24^th place.

Sydney Browning rounded out the scoring for Madisonville with a 97 which placed her 38^th.

Jenna Estravello of Whitefield Academy took medalist honors with a 71, with Glasgow’s Abbie Lee finishing second with a 73.

Madisonville’s team score of 337 finished fourth behind Glasgow [309], North Hardin [334], and Assumption [334].
