University Heights Academy seniors Beth Peebles and Evelyn Morales have been named to the Kentucky Volleyball Coaches Association Preseason Watch List.
A media release sent Monday said the 178 players named to the list statewide are expected to be considered for All-State honors at the end of the volleyball season.
Peebles recorded 808 assists for the Lady Blazers in 2019 with 163 digs and 65 aces. Morales had 171 kills, 38 blocks, and 55 aces during the season.
They were two of six players from the Second Region named to the watch list. Also named were Olivia Mitchell and Abby Griggs from Caldwell County, Macy Baker from Christian County, and Jordan Troutman from Henderson County.
